Prof. Luigi Adriano Pederzini — Specialist in Elbow Arthroscopy & Orthopedic Surgery International Authority in Arthroscopic Elbow Surgery Professor Luigi Adriano Pederzini, born in 1955, is one of Italy’s most respected orthopedic surgeons and a globally recognized expert in diagnostic and surgical arthroscopic orthopedics of the elbow. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Modena in 1981 and completed his specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology in 1986. His academic path continued through advanced training programs at prestigious international institutions, where he refined his expertise in upper limb surgery and arthroscopy. With a career spanning several decades, Professor Pederzini stands out among more than six thousand Italian orthopedists as one of the leading authorities in elbow arthroscopy, including complex revision surgeries for patients who previously underwent unsuccessful conservative or surgical treatments. His mastery in this field led to the publication of a comprehensive international textbook in 2013 and a state-of-the-art scientific review on elbow instability in JISAKOS (Journal of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine) in March 2021. He is currently a Top Specialist in Elbow Surgery at the FIFA & FIMS Medical Centre of Excellence at Villa Stuart Clinic in Rome—one of the world’s most respected centers for sports medicine and orthopedic care. Professor Pederzini has served as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan–Bicocca and is the current Head of the Orthopedics and Arthroscopic Surgery Department at the Nuovo Ospedale di Sassuolo (Modena).
