Nazaraliev Rehabilitation Center – Specializing in Drug and Alcohol Addiction Founded in 1991 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, the Nazaraliev Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center is one of the only centers in Eurasia dedicated to treating addiction through holistic medicinal principles. The center operates two facilities: a 100-bed intensive care unit in the city and an 80-bed rehabilitation unit in the foothills of the Ala-Too mountains in Besh-Kungey. As the largest private inpatient hospital for alcohol and drug abuse in the CIS, the center has successfully treated over 15,000 patients from around the world, including Germany, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Canada, and the US. A core principle of Dr. Nazaraliev’s approach is that all patients must be accompanied by a co-dependent during treatment. Translation services are available to accommodate diverse linguistic backgrounds. The center has been a member of the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) since 1997 and was awarded Academic Institution status in 1999. It is also a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. The facility hosts internships for doctors from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, and its staff actively engage in research, publishing in prestigious medical journals. Over the past decade, four PhD theses have been defended, five dissertations completed, and three scientific research collections published. Additionally, Dr. Nazaraliev and his team have presented over 100 scholarly articles at conferences worldwide, including in Russia, Germany, the UK, Israel, Belgium, Australia, and the US. The center’s treatment program is based on a patented method developed solely by Dr. Nazaraliev, focusing on an integrated holistic therapeutic approach that addresses the biological, physiological, and social aspects of the individual.
