Dr Laurent Smeets

Dr. Laurent Smeets received his full training in plastic surgery in Belgium, where he earned both his specialist title and the prestigious European EBOPRAS qualification in 2012. He then enriched his expertise in several of the world’s leading medical institutions, including the Queen Victoria Hospital in London, the Royal Melbourne Hospital in Australia, and top clinics in Sw Switzerland. With extensive international experience and mentorship from globally renowned specialists, Dr. Smeets has mastered some of the most advanced and innovative surgical techniques. He is the author of multiple scientific publications and is particularly recognized for his expertise in breast surgery, including post-cancer microsurgical breast reconstruction (DIEP flap). Dr. Smeets also specializes in post-bariatric surgery and a wide range of aesthetic body procedures—including body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, thigh lifts, and arm lifts.
