General:
It is not by chance that we named our hospital "Liv Bona Dea Hospital". In Roman mythology, Bona Dea is the goddess of healing. In her temple garden, the sick was treated with medicinal plants. A snake, a symbol of health, was also her attribute. Liv Bona Dea Hospital is located in Baku, the current capital of Azerbaijan. The beautiful building of our hospital is in Nizami district of the city. It is close to Heydar Aliyev Avenue, the main highway of the city, convenience is one of our advantages. However, the biggest advantage of our hospital is the desire of our investors to implement a strong, brand new and unique concept in the Caspian region: a hospital based on Western quality of patient care. This means that offering the highest standards of European healthcare is the main goal of our hospital. We aim to achieve this by working with many European medical, secondary medical and management staff, as well as in cooperation with major medical institutions within the European Union. Our ultimate goal is to achieve JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation: it is considered the gold standard in global healthcare. We really intend to become an international hospital by opening the doors of our hospital to Azerbaijanis, foreign citizens, diplomats, medical tourists and all patients worldwide.
